This art quilt is my textile take on the etching “Three Worlds” by Maurits Cornelis Escher. At first glance the image appears to be upside down but what the viewer is seeing is a reflection in the water of five tree skeletons. The surface of the pond is strewn with autumns leaves of varying shape and size to give perspective. Below the water are three fish, one of which is just below the surface, swimming up to the viewer.
