Today was the first meeting of a new felting group, Felt Inspired, which will meet in Belchford Village Hall on the second Wednesday of every month from 10-4pm.
Eight ladies attended our first meeting. Olga, Pat, Karen and Jenny brought their embellishing machines to work on.
Rosie concentrated on needle felting…..
……while Val, Janet and myself chose to wet felt.
It was an enjoyable day with good company and the time went far too fast!
If you are in the North Lincs area and would like to join us or want to know a bit more about the group you can get in touch via my contact page.
Great work Karen, good for you starting the group, hats off to you, Tracy

Thanks Tracy. If all goes to plan I’ve got Mandy Nash coming up to do a workshop in the New Year……if you are interested let me know and I will keep you informed.

Thanks for the positive feedback Gerti, nice to hear your enjoying the blog. I’ve just been taking a look at your site and your work really appeals to me. Which region of the IFA are you in? I joined region 8 earlier this year but have visited several other regions for workshops over the past few months.

It was Marilyn but some of us (mainly me) did more talking than working!

It’s wonderful to have a local group, lucky you. It’s always inspiring to get together and share with each other.

Your right and I was inspired to start a local group after visiting other groups that I’ve got to know through joining the IFA. They all seemed to be having so much fun I decided there was nothing to lose by giving it a go here.
